When it comes to his works on glass, the artist has an unconventional method... He creates his portraits and the glass impacts that make them up, by hammering to varying degrees, on glass plates. But what might appear at first glance to be vandalism are in fact meticulously thought-out representations. The hammer blows give birth to unique, original and surprising works! The portraits as well as the supports reveal creative possibilities and multiple expressions, drawing the eye all the more to the use and the rendering of these materials often coming from the recovery (car wrecks, ends of doors, cupboards, objects destined to be thrown away, etc.) and echoing a respectful perspective of the planet and its resources.
